suggested changes in bylaws

* **Officer Meetings:** Held the 15th of each month at 1:00 PM (or the next business day).
* **Quorum:** Requires all officers. If not met, present officers may hold informal discussions. The Recreation Leader must attend and record minutes if the Secretary is absent.

* **Formal:** Resolved via Program Coordinators, the MCOG Executive Director, or a mediation committee of the 11 other Center Presidents.
**ARTICLE VII: AMENDMENTS**
Amendments require a majority vote (50% + 1) of members present, provided written notice was given 5 days prior. Final approval is required from the MCOG Executive Director.
**ARTICLE VIII: RATIFICATION**
Approved on this day of ________, 2026.
### Suggested Improvements
* **Quorum Definition:** Requiring *all* officers for a quorum is extremely difficult to maintain. Suggest changing this to a "simple majority" of officers to ensure business can actually be conducted.
* **Officer Roles:** Explicitly list the duties for the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer in a new section to prevent overlap or confusion.
* **Meeting Discretion:** Article V, Section 3 gives the Recreation Leader full discretion on general meetings. Consider wording this as "The Recreation Leader shall facilitate at least one general meeting per month" to ensure consistency.
* **Grievance Specifics:** For the "Formal Process," specify a timeline (e.g., "within 10 business days") to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
* **Spelling/Typos:** Corrected "couTat" to "Council" and "GUAN" to "GUAM" in the text above.
