Mom subjects son to 323 hospital visits and 13 major surgeries

A Texas mother is in jail after hospital staff sounded alarm over a boy who had been seen 323 times at various medical centers and undergone 13 major surgeries in his eight years of life. Kaylene Bowen, who has allegedly previously claimed her son was dying of a genetic disease, fighting cancer and suffering from several other ailments over his lifetime, was arrested on a warrant accusing her of injury to a child with serious bodily injury, The Star-Telegram reported.

Bowen, 34, remains in Dallas County Jail while the boy, whose name is Christopher, and his two half-siblings have been placed in foster care. The boy’s father, Ryan Crawford, said he’s tried alerting authorities to Bowen’s actions previously, but was shut down by courts who sided with her.

“It was always the same story: Christopher is dying,” Crawford told The Star-Telegram. “The father doesn’t need to be around because he doesn’t know how to take care of him. Every time I went to court, they made me feel like I was the worst human ever.”

According to a Child Protective Services petition, Christopher was seen 323 times at hospitals and pediatric centers in Dallas and Houston between 2009 and 2016, The Star-Telegram reported. At various points, he was placed on oxygen fulltime, used a wheelchair, and was outfitted with a feeding tube that lead to life-threatening blood infections. Court documents revealed that Bowen placed Christopher in hospice care, and tried to have him placed on a lung transplant list.

“It’s horrible for my son, or any kid because obviously my son is not the only one that has had to go through this type of torture,” Crawford told The Star-Telegram. “The system has to be exposed – all the weaknesses that are in the system – because the kids don’t deserve that.”

Hospital staff sounded alarm with CPS after discovering that Christopher did not have cancer, or any of the alleged symptoms Bowen had listed. She had claimed that Christopher suffered a seven-minute seizure, but an ECG showed no such activity, The Star-Telegram reported. Staff reached out to another hospital that had treated Christopher and found there were similar suspicions about Bowen. A complaint was filed, marking the second such since 2015.

“I am very concerned that mother has moved from exaggerating symptoms to inducing symptoms,” Dr. Suzanne Dakil wrote, as part of a CPS petition for removal, according to the news outlet. “If mother has given Chris something to induce a seizure, this is potentially fatal. At this point I am very concerned for his welfare.”

While not formally diagnosed, Bowen’s actions are similar to those of others who suffer from Munchausen syndrome by proxy. The condition occurs when a person attempts to produce psychological or physical symptoms in another person, usually someone who is dependent on them. Several factors, including who is describing the patient’s symptoms, can make it difficult for doctors to spot the disorder.

Over the years, Bowen was soliciting money from supporters through a YouCaring page and other fundraising efforts. One page claimed the boy had been diagnosed with Arteriovenous malformation at age 2, and had raised more than $8,000.

Crawford is currently seeking to obtain custody of Christopher, who has since been taken off the feeding tube and is eating regularly.

Act II

As it begins to rain on Ahch-to, Rey prepares to face her test. Luke has instructed her to journey to the far side of the island. Luke gives her parting wisdom while talking to the birds in between. Before she departs, she smiles at Chewbacca playing with the birds.

Finn is being put through physical tests. He remarks that he feels stronger and faster than he did before his fight with Ren. Holdo and Poe have a discussion on his chances of ėėbeing recognized. Poe still isn’t a hundred percent on board with sending Finn on this mission. He wants to go. Holdo argues with him about his importance to the overall Resistance. Poe insists Finn not go on the mission alone and Holdo suggests he take Rose, who has clearly taken a liking to Finn. Holdo tells Poe they’ve got more pressing matters, she has a fleet of cruisers but the Resistance is currently low on one man fighters.

Kylo Ren marches down a hallway. All we see are his boots and cape. A cell door opens and he finds himself face to face with his mother. His helmet is on. He starts off by addressing her as "General". Leia is saddened by this. She calls him Ben and he tells her not to. He begs her to tell him where Luke is. She won’t. He tries to extract it from her mind as tears roll down her face. He can’t do it. He leaves the cell and tells Hux this one will take time. Kylo returns to a room brilliantly white with a chrome wall and removes his helmet. A human like droid administers treatment before he is submerged in bacta.

Rey comes to a clearing where the rocky cliffs make a horse shoe around her. The rain has lightened up. She sits and waits for something to happen. This is where Luke told her to go. One of the birds lands by her. It seems oddly friendly. Rey is amused and reaches out to touch it but the bird flies off. The ocean below her begins to stir. Rey stands up hurriedly. Lightning strikes the sea and a beast rises out of the waves. Rey frantically looks for a weapon but can find nothing. The beast roars and tries to strike her but misses. Rey is evading the beast but something has caught its attention. A nest of three baby birds have started crying and the beast has moved his attention towards them. Rey initially starts to run away but turns back and attempts to save the baby birds. As she carries them in her arms she braces for the beast to bite but the beast is suspended. Rey has stopped it with an outstretched hand. Though somewhat surprised at first, Rey pushes the beast off the cliff onto the rocky serfs below. She returns to Luke with the baby birds in hand. Luke tells her her training will begin in the morning.

Kylo Ren marches down a hallway. This time we see him from behind. The cell again opens. Leia is less saddened this time and more resolved. She wants to talk about Han. Kylo has none of it. He again tries to extract the map from Leia but can not. He enters Snoke’s chambers and asks for guidance. Snoke places a hand on Kylo Ren’s shoulder and tells him Leia can resist his power because she’s not seeing her son. Her son would break her. Kylo Ren will not.

Poe bids Finn and Rose fairwell and tells Finn that BB8 insisted he come along. They board a small shuttle and travel to Canto Bight. Upon arrival they are greeted warmly as their aliases have passed. An official welcomes them to Canto Bight and tells them they’ve been expected. Finn, Rose, and BB8 are taken to a dining hall where a man stands up and welcomes them, saying his name is Gannis Ducain.

Luke consults the ghost of Yoda in secrecy. Yoda assures him he’ll be right there along the way to help him train this girl. Luke speaks to Rey about the force and tells her every time she’s used it so far it’s been for violence, but the force is most at its balance when there is peace. He teaches her to control her force impulses, to use the force in a more gentle way.

Gannis dismisses his guards and immediately tells Finn he’s the mole and the coordinates to Snoke’s location, and tells the trio he’s reported them as Resistance spies and to run now. Finn has the idea to steal an animal from one of the circus attractions and they ride it down to the sea, where they steal a boat to get back to their shuttle while being pursued by CBPD (Canto Bight Police Department)(yes that’s a joke. Security chases them)

Kylo Ren enters the chamber again. Leia lashes out at him verbally. She demeans him, calls him a coward, and tells him her son died a long time ago. Kylo tries but fails to extract the map from his mother yet again. She once again calls him a coward for having to hide behind a mask to speak with her. He leaves the room. He removes his mask and destroys it. Hux is present and tells Kylo he can hand over interrogation to someone else. Kylo re-enters the chamber. Leia is in awe but heartbroken to see her son again. Kylo coldly extracts the map from her.

Hux is waiting for Ren. Ren tells Hux to assemble his Knights.

Luke uses the force to take the light saber from Rey’s outstretched hand. As he does she has another Force back.

The Resistance is hurriedly trying to flee the Illenian system but are met by a First Order fleet. The fleet is lead by Captain Phasma.

The Resistance sustains heavy losses and in process of evacuating the flagship is boarded. Poe and BB8 rush to wake up Finn and help get him off the ship. He’s weak, but not like Wesley in the Princess Bride when he was mostly dead. Poe needs help assisting Finn and stops a panicking mechanic named Rose to help him get Finn to an escape pod.

Leia is captured by Captain Phasma and her special unit.

Rey wakes to find Luke conversing with birds. She thinks he’s a loon watching the one sided conversations.

Luke asks Rey who she is and how she found him. She takes him to the Falcon where Chewbacca and Artoo are waiting.

Chewbacca embraces Luke who gets down to greet Artoo. Rey watches the exchange between the three longingly.

Luke and Rey return to the hut and Rey insists Luke rejoin the fight. Luke states his days of fighting are over and the practice of Jedi fighting wars has ended. Rey becomes even more upset when Luke begins talking to the birds again, this time seemingly in an argument. Luke declares almost angrily that he will train Rey… if she can pass a test.

Poe is piloting a freighter with Finn Rose and BB8 on board. He meets with the rest of the Resistance (or what’s left of it) on an abandoned mining planet. Rose and BB8 take Finn to the med Bay while Poe is told of Leia’s capture. After an argument with Admiral Holdo about launching a counter attack or gathering intel, Poe agrees the best recourse is an intel mission and covert extraction. Holdo says they need someone who can infiltrate a First Order occupied world and meet with a mole they have on the planet. Poe goes to the med Bay and tells Finn to rest up because he’s got a mission for him.

Leia is taken aboard a massive Star Destroyer. Phasma presents her to Snoke. Snoke and Leia trade barbs and Snoke is angry by the mention of Luke returning by the end of the conversation. He has Leia thrown in a holding cell. He brings up Hux on a hologram and tells him to inform Kylo Ren they have his mother.

Ducain, Finn and Rose infiltrate Snoke’s Star Destroyer. Finn is nearly recognized. BB8 begins searching the ship’s database for where Leia is being held. Stormtroopers arrest the trio.

Rey has a nightmare. Luke is awake looking at the sky. Rey confesses she can not kill Kylo Ren. Luke is surprised but does not try to convince her either way. Rey tells Luke she can feel his thoughts. She has for a while. She tells Luke she thinks he’s coming.

On Mustafar Kylo Ren meets with his Knights. They are all selecting weapons and sparring. Kylo addresses them, telling them that Luke is a more formidable opponent than any they have ever faced. He warns them. "They know we’re coming"

Rose and Ducain wait in a cell. Finn is held captive and his mind "downloaded", revealing the secret of the hidden base. Phasma reports this to Hux who mobilizes the First Order Navy.

In the cell, Rose realizes how the door works and causes it to short circuit. She and Ducain break out and meet up with BB8.

Luke sits on a rock overlooking the sea. The sky grows darker. A storm brews in the distance. Rey and Luke have a conversation about the Force. Luke is the most peaceful he’s been since Rey arrived. Rey asks Luke why he went away.

On Crait Holdo is alerted the First Order has arrived. Deflector shields hold against an areal assault but a ground invasion begins. Walkers are spotted on the horizon. Holdo panics and orders an evacuation. Poe convinces her they’d all be killed in the event of an evacuation. Holdo finally surrenders control to Poe and asks what they should do. Poe has an idea.

A bomb goes off in a corridor drawing Stormtrooper attention. Ducain and Rose bust Finn out. They meet back up with BB8 and are told where Leia is being held.

Luke warns Rey that whatever connection she has with Kylo Ren is not a good one. He tells her when he arrives he will try to kill her, and she would do well to preserve her life by killing him. Rey confesses to Luke her parents traded her for a ship to escape Jakku. She asks how she can possibly kill the person she’s dreamt about since she was a child. The only human she’d ever had a connection with.

Luke has no answer.

Poe addresses the pilots of the Resistance telling them they are going to use the old mineral hauling vehicles as a weapon.

The vehicles fly out and drop the dense mineral on top of the walkers, causing them to plummet. The evacuation transports go to light speed inside the atmosphere. Poe escapes on the last one. Holdo dies when a transport is shot down by a Star Destroyer.

Finn, Rose, and Ducain all make their way to Leia’s cell. Snoke orders Leia’s cell gassed.

A fleet of TIE fighters approach on the horizon. Luke asks Rey if she is ready.

Rose breaks into the database and sees Leia’s cell is being poisoned. She frantically tries to stop it.

It rains again. Kylo Ren and his Knights stand before Luke. Kylo Ren declares this is the day the Jedi end.

Luke closes his eyes. Lightning strikes at the feet of the closest Knight. He flies into the darkness off the cliff.

Kylo is not phased. The Knights are clearly shaken.

Rey appears. Kylo declares she is his and they fight. Luke sends lightning from the sky to another Knight, and then draws his lightsaber.

Kylo Ren and Rey duel but neither is trying to kill the other. They both feel the connection flowing back and forth. Kylo Ren disarms Rey and after asking who she is angrily as she clings to a cliff for dear life, is swarmed by the birds. Rey pulls herself up and Kylo Ren stands ready to fight both Luke and Rey. Reybegins hearing the voices of the birds. Before Kylo Ren and Luke can fight, she screams out for them not to.

Finn, Rose, and Ducain arrive at Leia’s cell but can not open it in time. As gas begins to leak out of the bottom, Ducain convinces the group to leave. They steal a shuttle.

Kylo Ren falls to his knees. Luke does too. Leia is gone.

The trio escape on a stolen shuttle.

Kylo flees on his TIE fighter. Luke and Rey decide to board the Falcon.

Snoke summons General Hux. He tells him it’s time he lived up to his family name, crafts a lightsaber, and gives it to Hux. Hux lights it up. It’s BLACK.

There is a funeral on an earth like planet. Luke stands by Rey but Rey leaves the procession. Luke tells Finn and Poe not to go after her. He asks Maz Kanata if she is sure about this.

Rey retreats down an alley. Kylo Ren stands there.

She demands he get out of her head.

He demands the same.

Rey says she doesn’t know what’s going on. She embraces Kylo. Kylo says he does not either, but he promises he will kill Snoke.

Snoke summons General Hux. He tells him it’s time he lived up to his family name, crafts a lightsaber, and gives it to Hux. Hux lights it up. It’s BLACK.

??? As we know from Empire’s End, his dad Brendol Hux was a cowardly politician and he’s the result of an affair his father had with a kitchen maid.

Kylo’s a spiritualist. Hux is a technocrat. Oil and water. He acts as Kylo’s foil.

ACT IV

Snoke stirs in his modular space coffin. Its uncomfortable sleeping alone for the first time without watching a hologram of Kylo. He makes a blue milk tea and force paints some figurines in his miniature Geonosis vs Jedi diorama.

At Leia’s funeral, Luke delivers a long and ultimately confusing metaphor filled speech about the bonds between brother and sister. Finn falls asleep- inadvertently reactivating his Stormtrooper profile. He wakes up with a bewildering yet evil smirk as he sees Luke.

Maz polishes her goggles as she’s being driven back to her ship in a space pedicab. She sees Kylo and Rey entering a clothing store and follows them. She does not tip her driver- who looks like Kit Fisto but yellow with a gladiator haircut in front of his head tentacles.

Chewbacca hears Han’s voice while comforting a crying Luke. Finn tries to arrest Luke at gunpoint but Luke has foreseen this and tells Finn that. Finn realizes he’s holding a banana. Luke then shocks him with green force lightning, knocking Finn’s spinal implant out of his body and into a wall where it detonates. Chaos reigns.

Hux hanglides in in the midst of chaos, riding in a mech suit that has a huge First Order Nazi uniform on. The mech ignites the blacksaber of belarius.

The explosion from Finn’s neck bomb medical tech causes Rey and Kylo to bump into each other. They awkwardly exchange apologies (oh they’re in undertunics now too) and then decide to go for it and kiss. Maz screams, breaking it up. Kylo reaches for his lightsaber but Rey stops him. Kylo blurts out "We have to kill Snoke…" for no reason.

Chewbacca uses his laser slingshot to distract Hux. Luke waits for his force lightning ability to recharge. The blacksaber cuts the laser slingshot’s force field rubber band and part of Chewie’s wrist. The Wookie yowls in pain- Luke does too because he’s very sensitive now with his sister being dead and Han too. And his dad and Obi Wan and Rey left him. Hux rages with glee then is crushed into a cube the size of a thimble. Chewie looks to Luke who looks back at Chewie like "I ain’t did that."

Then we hear a familiar voice cackling…

"Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.."

Few media reports strongly suggested that Bruce Lee died at the age of 32 from a brain aneurysm. However, a large section of people had witnessed the other side of the death story.

It is believed that the Martial artist was murdered by a secretive Chinese organization for some unknown reason. The Chinese organization suspected behind Bruce Lee’s death is known as "triad"

According to available information and facts, it is said that Bruce Lee had met the famous producer, Raymond Cho in Hong Kong for his next film, ‘Game of Death’, on the same day he died.

The meeting was held at 4 a.m. and Lee had a severe headache. After the situation went out of control, Lee’s friend Betty Ting Pei, gave him an analgesic medicine, which is basically a combination of two drugs – Aspirin and Meprobamate.

His Planned Dinner With George Lazenby

On the same day, Lee was supposed to have dinner with actor George Lazenby over a discussion of the movie. Lee did not turn up for the dinner, in fact, his headache was getting worse. The artist was quickly rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was declared dead.

Post-mortem Reports

On further inquiry, post-mortem reports indicated that Aspirin and Meprobamate had an allergic reaction, which led to increasing his brain size by 13 percent. This harmful reaction also caused an increase in the cerebrospinal fluid, which resulted in the ultimate death of the legend on the very same day. Bruce Lee’s body was returned to Seattle, where he was actually buried.

Did Chinese Gangsters Kill Bruce Lee?

After Bruce Lee’s death, another report started circulating around. Where the world was in deep shock for losing a legendary artist, few people claimed that Lee was actually killed by Chinese gangsters.

The reason behind the murder was not known; but the claims lead to further inquiry on the same. However, no proper evidence or proof was found on the same. Even to this day, various experts are still working to find out the real reason behind Bruce Lee’s death.
